About Rabbi Simon

Rabbi Ted Simon is a Jewish man who loves Jesus. He has been married to Diane since December, 1975. Together they have four children and one grandchild. He is the co-host of the nationally syndicated radio program Messianic Minutes. He has been commissioned to bless and equip the Body of MESSIAH with a prophetic understanding of the Biblical relationship between today's Church and Israel in these Last Days. He fulfills his commission by traveling nationally and internationally bringing encouraging messages of hope in YESHUA (JESUS) and teaching the Church about its Jewish roots. He has spoken at Promise Keepers and in Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and Mexico and often speaks on the prophetic role of Israel and the Church in the Last Days.

Rabbi Simon has served as a congregational teacher, deacon, and elder. In 1989 he joined Keith (Asher)  Intrater as an assistant pastor, and in 1992 assumed the full-time senior leadership of El Shaddai Congregation in Frederick, MD for about 10 years. Rabbi Simon is also a past president of the Frederick Evangelical Ministers Fellowship.

Raised in a traditional Jewish home, Rabbi Simon completed New York State Regents in Hebrew. He graduated from Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in Manhattan, and Oberlin College in Ohio. After attending Messiah Biblical Institute, Rabbi Simon was granted Smicha (ordination) through Tikkun Ministries.

About Rabbi Simon's Ministry

Rabbi Simon's dynamic ministry is based around one fundamental concept:

"NOW IS THE TIME TO FAVOR ZION"

The goals of this ministry include:

  • To effectively bring the prophetic message of Israel and the Church to the Evangelical Community.
  • To gather prayer support for Jewish Believers and Evangelism in Israel.
  • To demonstrate (with Ramzi Hishmeh from Ramallah) that Peace is possible for Jews and Arabs, not through a road map, accords, a piece of paper, or partitioning, but through a Person -- YESHUA the Messiah.
  • To use the media, TV, radio, and print to raise awareness of vast numbers of people.
  • To encourage Believers in Israel through hands-on ministry and prayer. Rabbi and Mrs. Simon bring encouragement and comfort to those on the front lines in Israel.
  • To distribute money and resources. To raise very substantial amounts of money to give directly to needy Believers in the Land.
